A group of fourteen A-Level Economics students got their first taste of Parliament last Thursday when they visited both the House of Commons and the House of Lords, in a trip organized by Alyn & Deeside MP Mark Tami.

The group from Elfed High School in Buckley experienced the workings of Government when they sat in the gallery of both Houses, as well as a tour up Big Ben.

Mr Tami said of the day, “I am told that the students and their teachers enjoyed their visit, even the 300-odd steps to the top of Big Ben! I hope that they found it an interesting experience.”

Students also had the opportunity for a questions and answers session with Mr Tami.
