Mark Tami MP visits Ysgol Bryn Deva for Parliament week

UK Parliament Week is an annual festival that engages people from across the UK with Parliament, explores what it means to them and empowers them to get involved.

This year, Ysgol Bryn Deva, really embraced the festival and used the week to learn about UK politics and in particular how Parliament works.

To end the week they invited local MP, Mark Tami to come and visit the school and spend some time with each year group answering their questions.

Mark Tami MP said, “It was great to get the opportunity to speak to the children at Bryn Deva whose knowledge of British politics was very impressive!

“Parliament Week is a great way for young people to get a better understanding of how Parliament works. Bryn Deva really did embrace it this year and it was fantastic to see the pupils genuinely interested by politics.”

“The children seemed to enjoy themselves and I’d encourage other schools in the constituency to take part next year”
