Mark Tami calls for an end to violence against women

white ribbon“I support the White Ribbon UK because men need to get involved in ending violence against women. I urge men to go to and pledge their support for this important campaign.”Mark Tami recently took a stand against violence towards women and called on other men in Alyn and Deeside to challenge against violence towards women.

He wore a white ribbon last week in Parliament to show his support for the White Ribbon Campaign. UK’s only male-led campaign to challenge violence against women. Wearing a White Ribbon signifies a commitment to never commit, condone or remain silent about violence against women.

Mark Tami said, “Unfortunately, the horror of domestic abuse, rape, sexual exploitation and trafficking is still a reality for thousands of women across the UK. Violence against women, in any form, is unacceptable and should not be tolerated.”
