Mark Tami MP Supports Dementia Awareness Week

This week is Dementia Awareness Week, run by the Alzheimer’s Society, it is intended to raise awareness of dementia and outline the support that is available for those people living with or caring for somebody with dementia.

The Alyn & Deeside MP said, “The Alzheimer’s Society do important work helping and supporting people who receive a dementia diagnosis. There are around 1000 people living with dementia in Alyn & Deeside and it is vital that they get the help and support that they need and I would urge everybody in Alyn & Deeside to support Dementia Awareness Week.”

This Dementia Awareness Week they are highlighting the positive message that life doesn’t stop with a dementia diagnosis and are spreading the word on Twitter with #dosomethingnew
