Mark Tami MP Visits Connah’s Quay High School

Mark Tami MP was quizzed by students at Connah’s Quay High School on Friday.

The Alyn & Deeside MP met with the Year 11 pupils from Connah’s Quay High School and discussed a range of topics including the importance of voting and making sure that young people are registered to vote.

Speaking after the event Mark said, ‘It was great to be invited to Connah’s Quay High School and be asked questions by the year 11 pupils.’

‘They were very engaged in the political process and we had an excellent discussion about the reasons why it is important that people vote, particularly younger people, who are statistically the least likely to vote in elections.’
