Coleg Cambria Students

Mark Tami MP was invited to meet with students from Coleg Cambria last week where he discussed his role as an MP both in the constituency and in Parliament.

The Alyn & Deeside MP met with the AS-level politics students and was questioned on a range of subjects including House of Lords reform and the role of Select Committees.

Mark said, ‘I was delighted to meet with the students from Coleg Cambria. They quizzed me on a wide range of topics and I was very impressed with the questions that were asked. I am aware that exams will be coming around shortly and I wish them every success with their studies.’

Coleg Cambria Politics Lecturer, Pauline Vickers said: “The students really enjoyed local Member of Parliament Mark Tami’s visit to the AS level Politics class in Coleg Cambria Deeside.  They found it extremely useful to be able to ask an MP directly about issues that they have studied in class.  Mark was very open to answering all the questions from the students and the students really benefited from the visit.”
