MP Backs the Fight Against Breast Cancer

Mark Tami MP for Alyn and Deeside is backing the fight against breast cancer by supporting Breast Cancer Campaign’s fundraiser wear it pink and he is appealing everyone to join with him and wear something pink.

Mark Tami said, “48,000 women and 340 men are diagnosed with breast cancer in the UK every year. By wearing pink on 26th October 2012 Breast Cancer Campaign will raise vital funds to carry out their groundbreaking research to fight this disease.”

This is the 10th year of the wear it pink campaign and this year the theme is superheroes. People across the country will wear pink on the 26th October and donate £2 to the Breast Cancer Campaign as they try to reach their target of £2 million.
